MONDAY WITH AN EDGE

Student Model: Wilson

Time to face the truth: Most of us hate Mondays. (Well, blame it for being placed as the first day of the week, smacked right after a weekend of leisure.

But that definitely doesn't give us an excuse to turn up for classes sloppily! (•ิ_•ิ)

On Monday, Wilson puts on a simple assortment to school: Nothing short of a plain basic tee and his maroon quarter-pants that screaaaam the contrast. His black outerwear is detailed with striking gold zippers.

"Lazy and grouchy Mondays? Time to opt for a more subdued look."

  • Black Outerwear:  Thailand
  • Shirt: Muji
  • Maroon Quarter pants: Thailand
  • Watch: Ted Baker

"I'm nonchalant today but I can still impress you" Tuesday

"The Boy with a Bright Smile" *▽*

What conveys a louder fashion statement than dressing the extraordinary way?

On Wednesday, make yourself stand out from the crowds and inspire a league of fashionistas.

Think Fashion, Think the Newspaper Way

"Why fit in when you can stand out?" Wednesday

  • Newspaper Shirt: TANGS, John Galliano
  • Shorts: Bangkok

ENGLISH CLASSIC THURSDAY

It's interesting how a person's image can easily change with a fresh set of clothing. On Thursday, our fashion inspiration rocks the good english boy look with his navy outfit and purple quarter-pants. The faux pocket complements the look with its simple and non-intrusive detail.

"Date Ready Thursday"

  • ASOS Oxford Shirt with Contrast Pocket Navy: Online Shopping
  • Purple Quarterpants: Bangkok

RUSTY FRIDAY

Simple layering with the right color combination can give a typical grunge look. Guys can show their quirky taste in fashion with quarters in different colors.

Pair it up with complementing pieces that boast little pocket details to bring out the fashionable student in you.

"Thank God It's Friday."

  • Rugged Kaki Jacket: Bugis Junction
  • ASOS T-shirt with contrast pocket and sleeves: Online
  • Green Quarterpants: Bangkok

WEEKENDS

SLEEK AND SOPHISTICATED SATURDAY

“You can never be overdressed or overeducated.”

I once quoted an individual who said that fashion is all about attitude. Indeed it is. It is the courage to distinguish oneself from the mundane crowds and stand out with your individuality.

The integral assortment of this outfit follows a simple basic tee and even a plain creamy shorts. However, the draped outerwear sassed up the otherwise boring look and gives our fashion inspiration of the week a defined and bold look!

"Fashion is about holding the right attitude" Saturday
  • Black outerwear: Depression Cineleisure
  • White Basic Shirt: Muji
  • Grey sweatpants: Hajilane

PUMPED UP SUNDAY

This piece's rebellious and dark monochromes veer away from the summer craze (think bright vibrant colors). The sleek leather jacket exudes the independence and confidence that all fashionable people should possess.

A pair of dark faded denim jackets, a lighter toned shirt and a biker jacket speaks: A man who dresses well enough to impress, at the same time confident enough to boast his own personality.

"Displaying the audacity and vigor of youths; pump up my sunday."

  • Synthetic Black Leather Jacket: ZARA Man
  • Blue Pokka Dots Long Sleeved Shirt: Bangkok
  • Dark blue jeans: ASOS
  • Belt: Louis Vuitton

Check out the following links that we've in store for all you fashionistas.

What is LOOKBOOK.nu?

LOOKBOOK.nu is the largest online community dedicated to showcasing member-uploaded "street style" photography. Also known as "LB" or simply "lookbook," LOOKBOOK.nu is both a utility that allows members to document their evolving style & a collective gallery from which "lookbookers" and non-members can draw daily fashion inspiration. The most inspiring looks of the moment—as determined by community "hypes"—are displayed on the "Hot" page, while the most recent looks posted by reputable LB members are published to the "New" page. Founded in 2008, LOOKBOOK.nu was created to bring together creative, interesting, and openminded fashion enthusiasts, and to democratically recognize the talents of real people around the world. In a sense, LOOKBOOK.nu is the world's first, truly editorless fashion magazine.
